Having studied traditional Japanese dance under several teachers since 2006, Evelyn took the exam to receive her professional dance name from the Onoe School (尾上流) in 2025 and performs and teaches as Onoe Kikukyōran (尾上菊京藍).
Traditional Japanese Performance
Evelyn holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa where she studied Nōh (能楽), Kyogen (狂言), Kabuki (歌舞伎), and Nihon Buyoh (日本舞踊).
